He was predeceased by: his parents, Schuler Hutchison and Alice Hutchison; and his brothers, Lindon, Delma, Carl, Felix and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Mabry Hutchison; his children, Gary Hutchison (Pam), Judy Hutchison, Amy Mitchell (Mike) and Leslie Edwards (Ricky); his grandchildren, Jessica Bowman (Shawn), Anna Bothwell (Zach), Katie Hurst (Will), Aaron Edwards (Kiara Molina) and Evan Edwards (Lily Weissend); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Mikel, Hendrix and Gianna Bothwell; and his grandchildren, Josey, Eloise Hurst, Wyatt and Mabry Bowman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rainbow City First Methodist Church (3208 Rainbow Dr, Rainbow City, AL 35906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Southside Funeral Home and Cemetery (1009 AL-77, Gadsden, AL 35907).
