With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Trimble of Rainbow City, Alabama, who passed away on December 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert Duke and Mamie Ruth Touchstone Duke; her former husband James Edward Davis; James Davis Duke. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Clements Trimble Sr.; her children, Melissa Faith Smith (Kyle) and Barrett Lee Davis; her granddaughters, Chelsea Faith Smith and Shelby Lauren Smith; her sister-in-law Lynn Duke; and her nephews, Jason Duke and Joseph Duke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
