Sandra Swann Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Swann of Rainbow City, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Swann to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Ruth Horton; her son Michael L. Swann; her father James E. Horton; and her siblings, Jewel Georgeson, Waylon Bailey and Burma Grafton.

She is survived by: her husband Danny Swann; her daughter Susan Swann-Shankles (Phillip); her grandchildren, Madeline Mims and Andrew Swann; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Jonathan Swann; and her brothers, Pete Horton (Vicki) and Gary Horton (Beth). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
