He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Keener McDaniel; his children, Judy McDaniel Keeton (Dave), Sherry McDaniel Giger (Frank), Barry Calvin McDaniel (Marcie) and James Patrick McDaniel; his siblings, Faye Vaughn, Peggy McDaniel and Alvin McDaniel; his grandchildren, Laura McDaniel, Holly McDaniel Henley, Kimberly McDaniel Thomas Giger, James Andrew McDaniel, Alex McDaniel and Ashley McDaniel Rose; and his great grandchildren, Riley Henley, Caroline Henley, Harper Henley, Colton Hollis and Kallie Hollis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
