She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Tate; her parents, Everett Wilson and Cora Wilson; and her siblings, Deborah Jean Travis and Paul Everett Wilson.

She is survived by: her sons, Keith King (Kristi) and James King (Nicki); her sister Virginia Morton; and her grandchildren, Ethan King, Derakh King, Gage King, Lexi King, Gavin King, Adrien King, Jami Straub and Owen King. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
