He is survived by: his wife Frieda Banks McCracken; his children, Shelley Merriam (Michael) and Marc McCracken (Mindy); his siblings, Mary E. Mosley, Mahlon McCracken (Cheryl), Dan McCracken (Ann), Mike McCracken and Gary McCracken (Brenda); his grandchildren, Mallory Merriam, Clay Merriam, Ann-Michael McCracken and Cohen McCracken; and his brother-in-law James D. Banks (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Hospice of West Alabama.
