She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Smalley and Jewell Smalley; and her brothers, Clyde Ray Smalley and John Smalley. She is survived by: her husband James Ryan; her daughters, Tammy Ryan of Ralph, AL, Karen Ryan (Bobby Jacobs) of Ralph, AL and Crissy Ryan Turner (Tim) of Ralph, AL; her brother Jerry Smalley (Betty) of Tuscaloosa, AL; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's honor may be made to Mt. Paran Baptist Church or the Gideon's International.
