He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Whitley and Meady Bell Kilgore Whitley; his wife Patsy Whitley; and his sister Sandra Wright. He is survived by: his sons, Jody Mark Whitley and Rodney (Angela Whitley); his brother-in-law Bill Wright; and his granddaughters, Lindsey Worthy, Jesse Whitley, Marista Russell and Emily Whitley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
