With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie Pearl Howington Balkcom of Range, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Franklin (Katie Lou Owens Howington) and Husband-Fred Beth Balkcom; her son Phillip Rowell; her siblings, James Howington, Shelton Howington, Doris Booker, Betty Burch and Jackie Jackson; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Rowell.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Rowell (Dana) of Brewton and Marty Balkcom (Hope) of Troy; her sister Judy Baggett (Mack) of Excel; and her grandchildren, Chrystal Jacobs, Beth Ann Rowell, Maggie Rowell, Logan Rowell, Cassidy Balkcom, Bethany Balkcom and Brady Balkcom. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Acres Cemetery (4858 Old Hwy 31, Brewton, AL 36426).
