We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, at the age of 86, Bobbie Nell Mitchell in Red Bay, Alabama, born in Prentiss, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bobbie Nell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bobbie Nell farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Pate and Horace Lester Pate; and her brothers, James Lee Pate and Travis Junior Pate. She is survived by: her significant other Cornelius; her sisters, Dortha Childers of Kenosha, WI and Mary Pate Viera of Merritt Island, FL; and her children, Steve Mitchell (Becky) of Piperton, TN, Ronald Mitchell of Memphis, TN and Kathy Leis (Bob) of Garner, NC.. She is also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134).
