We announce the death of Brenda Oglesby of Reform, Alabama, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Brenda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband James Freddie Oglesby; her son Richard Oglesby; her parents, Jimmy Wilkins and Eunice Gray Wilkins; her brother Tommy Wilkins (June); and her brother-in-law Jim Frank Seymer.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Oglesby of Smyrna, GA and Jarrod Oglesby of Reform; and her siblings, Marguerite Seymer, Jim Wilkins (Gayle), David Wilkins (Judy), Bruce Howard (Mary) and Rufus Wilkins (Denise). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
