He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Hewitt; his son Jeff Hewitt; and his sister Helen Hewitt Mize. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Thomas (Steve), Norman Hewitt, Susan Self (Johnny) and John Hewitt; and his brother John Roland Hewitt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 256 Kathy Ln, Remlap, AL 35133.
