Kristopher Gene Updike Obituary

We announce the death of Kristopher Gene Updike (Remlap, Alabama), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 50. Kristopher will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Updike. He is survived by: his children, Ethan Cruell, Landon Updike, Maci Updike, Samuel Updike, Nadia Barrani and Daniel Barrani; his granddaughter Kaezlyn Corbett; his parents, Larry Updike and Brenda Brown; and his siblings, Patrice Hendricks, Larry Jerome Updike and Amanda Sturgis.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make donations to The Cleveland Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
