He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hicks; his daughters, Amy Nesbitt (Matthew), Jennifer Wyatt and Donna Williams; his grandchildren, Autumn Mullins (Jake), Christian Langner and Carson Williams; and his siblings, Harvey Hicks (Annette), Bobby Hicks and Evelyn Boyd.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Big Oak Ranch, 6000 Shelley Drive, Springville, Alabama 35146.
