Owensby; her former husband Robert Joiner, Jr.; her brothers, Willie Lewis "Snook" Owensby and Arthur James Owensby; her cousin Virgilnetta Holt of Atlanta, GA; her friends, Carrie Ethel Jones of Roanoke and Nina Taylor of Roanoke; and her caregivers, Levonia Boyd, Agnes Watkins, Alice Houston, Jennifer Benefield, Sophia Huff, LaTrika Landrum and Florence Pierre.
She is survived by: her mother Carrie Bell Owensby (Watts); her stepdaughter Dianne McLain of Fairburn, GA; her husband Michael Joiner (Alfreda) of Roanoke, AL; her friend Betty R. Joiner (Owensby); Robert Alton Joiner (Regina) of Roanoke, AL and Casey Adamson (Sasser) of Roanoke, AL. She is also survived by her six children; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
