It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darthy Jean Burell Lewis of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on February 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William O. Brown and Cora Smith Brown; her husbands, William Burell and Samuel Lewis; her daughter Patsy D. Rowe; and her great grandchild Cadence Rowe.

She is survived by : her daughter Melissa Pollard (Tim) of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Rowe, Jr. (Cherish) of Gardendale, Ala. and Lori Windsor (Gordon); her great grandchildren, Jimmy James, Allison Clegg, Ryker, Jaxson and Sawyer Rowe; and her sister Virginia Holloway of Roanoke, Ala..
