He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Higgins and Parilee Nix Higgins; his grandson Zach Higgins; and his brother Cherl Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Ann Pate Higgins of Roanoke; his daughter Kimberly Stallings (Chris) of Roanoke; and his sisters, Sarah Ann Vinson of South Carolina and Brenda Johnson of South Carolina.
