He was predeceased by : his parents, Colbert Delmar and Dorothy Lela White Carson; his former life partner Betty Carson; and his siblings, Leroy Carson, Shelia Carson, George Carson and Rebecca Clegg.
He is survived by : his wife Sally Walker Carson of Roanoke; and his brother Wyatt Carson (Dawn) of Roanoke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
