He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Gosdin and Vader Craven Gosdin. He is survived by: his wife Dicie Carr Gosdin of Roanoke; his children, Dale Richardson (Tony) of Woodland, Wanda McDaniel (Steve McDaniel) of Roanoke, Penny Justice of Cartersville, GA and Ed Mitchum of Woodland; his grandchildren, Katie Dye (Eric) of Woodland, Shellie Rigney (Matt) of Woodland, Justin Benefield (Gabby) of Roanoke, Paige Huey (Heath) of Woodland, Zach McDaniel (Megan) of Roanoke and Anna Robertson (Caleb) of Columbus, OH; his niece Susie Moon; his nephew Keenan Moon; his brothers, Terrell Gosdin of Standing Rock, Terry Gosdin of Roanoke and Larry Wayne Gosdin of Woodland; and his caregiver Pam Smith. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
