He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Carol Fant Brown of LaFayette; his daughter Carol "Cissy" Sides of Valley; his son-in-law Robert Hancock of Valley; his granddaughters, Autumn Hancock (Mallory) of Valley and Amber Hurst (Ronald) of Valley; his great grandchildren, Hayden Hancock, Clara-Grace Culbreth and Wyatt Culbreth; his siblings, Jeanette Barber of Roanoke, Connie Aisel of Ocala, FL and Jerry Brown of Smiths Station; and his close friend Jeff Fetner of Roanoke.
