He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Ester (Evella) of Roanoke, Marvin Ester, Jr. of Roanoke and Thomas Ester (Laura) of Chicago, IL; and his close friends, Morelle Allen, Wilkie Sherard Frieson (Jacqueline) and Shundra Hughley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
