She was predeceased by: her son Ladarious Phillips (Da-Da). She is survived by: her father Jimmy Phillips; her sons, Semaj Nunn of Roanoke and Simaj Nunn; her granddaughter Skye Marie Nunn; her mother Brenda Faye Phillips; and her grandmother Audrey Phillips of Roanoke, Alabama. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, friends.
Despite facing serious health challenges in recent years, including enduring nine strokes and battling COVID, Jemecia's resilient spirit never faltered.
