He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Andrea Tucker; his children, Cindy Moore (Chris) of Ranburne, Steve Tucker (Jennifer) of Athens and Mekeisha Bowden (Jody) of Marbury; his siblings, James "Butch" Trasher (Linda Reaves), Charles Randall "Randy" Thrasher (Pat), Joseph Anthony "Tony" Trasher (Julie) and Paula "Penny" Hammonds; his mother-in-law Aurelia Gilley of Prattville; his brother-in-law Reverend Larry Gilley (Joan) of Pensacola; his grandchildren, Jason Moore (Brandy), Becky Hinton (Travis), Madison Tucker, Kaiden Tucker and Savannah Bowden; his aunt Flora Poe; his parents, Pvt and Jewell Poe Thrasher; his stepfather Charles Temple "Spike" Thrasher; his grandparents, Rev. Dave, Liz Tucker, Aaron and Molly Poe; his father-in-law Dewitt Gilley; his siblings-in-law, Carol Driggers, Jean Thrasher, Donnie Driggers and Steve Hammonds; and his grandson Johnny Lee Moore. He was also cherished by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
His body succumbed to Parkinson's disease, dementia, and was in remission from chronic myeloid leukemia.
