He is survived by: his wife Angela Brooks of Roanoke; his children, Amy Hill (Corey) of Texas, Stephanie Perry (Jeff) of LaGrange, GA, Abby Downey (Jace) of North Carolina, Jessica Hein of Texas, Brittney Hood of Newnan, GA, Haley Calhoun (Caleb) of Opelika, AL and Taylor Brooks (Alison) of Opelika, AL; and his siblings, Robin Hoffman of Atlanta, GA, Fred "Buck" Brooks of Covington, GA and Danny Brooks of Jefferson, GA.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
