With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Parmer Cole of Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on December 16, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee and Ruby O. V. Weldon Parmer; her husband Steve Cole; her brothers, Jerry Parmer and C. L. Parmer; and her sisters-in-law, Vicky Louise Cole and Jeanette Parmer.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Shumpert (Jim) of Auburn and Pace Cole (Kandy) of Oneonta; her grandchildren, Charles Oakley Shumpert, Madison Alea Cole and Emma Grace Cole; and her siblings-in-law, Diane Parmer of Roanoke and Tyre Cole of Roanoke. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
