With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Awbrey Caypless of Roanoke, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Linda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lewis and Rebecca Phillips Awbrey. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Caypless (Tonya) of Wadley and Kevin Caypless (Dana) of Opelika; her grandchildren, Mallory Caypless, Matthew Caypless (Hannah), Anna Grace Caypless and Wyatt Caypless; and her sisters, Lynn Braun of Newportbury, Mass. and Lisa Woodard of Montgomery.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church (809 Rock Mills Rd, Roanoke, AL 36274).
