She was predeceased by: her parents, Clint Wilson and Ilona Bradley Wilson; her siblings, Kermit, Clintis (Peg), Lewis and Carolyn; her husband Junior W. Messer; her daughter Lynne M. Barnes; and her son-in-law Terry.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Simpson (Nick) and Paul Messer (Kittie); and her grandchildren, Mande, Brandon, Derrick, Blair, Bobby, Jodi, Amanda and Danny.
