He was predeceased by : his mother Lela Laverne Stephens Ussery; and his brother Jason Ussery. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Bassett Ussery; his sons, Timothy Ussery of Valley, Ala. and Thomas Ussery of Chambers County, Ala.; his stepson Timothy Lowery of Beulah, Ala.; his father Jasper Eugene Ussery; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Ussery and Bryleigh Lowery; his close friend Teresa Kirby; and his sisters, Shelia Boyd of Bacon Level, Ala. and Regina Jackson of Roanoke, Ala..
