It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Eugene Ussery of Roanoke, Alabama, born in Fort Sheridan, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lela Laverne Stephens Ussery; and his brother Jason Ussery. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bassett Ussery; his sons, Timothy Ussery of Valley, Ala. and Thomas Ussery of Chambers County, Ala.; his stepson Timothy Lowery of Beulah, Ala.; his father Jasper Eugene Ussery; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Ussery and Bryleigh Lowery; his close friend Teresa Kirby; and his sisters, Shelia Boyd of Bacon Level, Ala. and Regina Jackson of Roanoke, Ala..
