She is survived by : her children, Demetrius Winston (Yikeisha) of Roanoke, LaTanya Winston of Roanoke, Shannetta Winston Reese (Terrance) of Roanoke and LaTasha Winston of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Dameion, Juantavious, Shianna, T'Coriyah, Shakiyah, Marquiria, De'Niya and Paris; her siblings, Martha Thomas of Cleveland, OH, Evelyn "Jeanette" Baker (Grover) of Roanoke, Donald Winston (Christine) of Fairburn, GA and Cynthia Bell of Roanoke; her great grandchildren, Ajah, La'Dyah, Samiria, Zayvian, Messiah, Ni'Ziyah, Makai and Leilani; her close friends, Diane Phillips and Carolyn Goss; her niece Linda Thomas; her nephews, Andre Winston and Donald Houston; and her goddaughter Teshashyta Foster-Wood.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (335 Ave A, Roanoke, AL 36274). The State of Alabama does not have a state-wide mask mandate however, WE ASK all visitors and guests of the family to please note that the incidence of COVID-19 cases throughout Alabama are rising.
