He is survived by: his wife Carol Wyatt Bolan of Roanoke; his son Russ Bolan of Woodland; his daughter-in-law Karyn Bolan of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Ashley Robinson, Amanda Kirby, Kasey Vollenweider, Dalton Bolan and Ashton Bolan; his great grandchildren, Brantley Robinson, Raelyn Robinson and Emmett Vollenweider; and his parents, Newton Lee and Fannie Latham Bolan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Research Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
