Peggy left this world on June 20, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beasley and Lula Rae Turner Beasley; her stepsons, Willie Frank Shears and George Shears; and her brother Reverend Frank Wright, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Marvin Shears (Daniela) of Roanoke; her grandson Shelton Shears of Augsburg, Germany.; her great grandchild Maximillion Shears of Augsburg; her stepson Percy Shears of Cincinnati, Ohio.; and her friend Peggy Beasley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and dear friends.
