He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Joe and Sarah Henry Staples; his grandsons, Matthew Wayne Glass and William Trae Anthony; and his sister Janice Parker.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristy Stone Tobin (Parrish Tobin) of Roanoke; his granddaughters, Bailey Sarah Lanning (Blake) of Lexington, N. C. and Chelley Gianna Glass of Roanoke; and his brother Ken Staples (Gail) of LaGrange, GA..
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Randolph Memory Gardens (64930 AL-22, Roanoke, AL 36274).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Midway Full Gospel Church.
