In the vast expanse of eternity, Sherry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sherry farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Bridges and Jimmie Brown Bridges; her husband Ed Taylor; and her siblings, Wanda Braswell and Terry Bridges.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynne Sanderson (Charles) of Roanoke and Misty Allen (Chris) of Woodland; and her sisters, Christie Turner (Ronald) of Roanoke and Denease Moore (Larry) of Roanoke. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home (319 College St, Roanoke, AL 36274). The lying in state will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Turnaround Christian Center (2116 US-431, Roanoke, AL 36274). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
