He is survived by: his children, Kris Holt, George Simpson (Jami) and Josh Simpson (Rebecca); his stepdaughter April Futrell (Megan); his grandchildren, Madeline Holt, Alexis Simpson Braud, Annie Simpson, Jonah Simpson, Grace Lumpkin, Hope Lumpkin, Chandler Searcy, Kensie Toney and Georgia Simpson (Brooke Mowrer); and his great grandchild Palmer Toney.
