He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie M. Taylor and Nancy Adamson Taylor; his son Thomas Donald Taylor II; and his siblings, J. W. Taylor, Mabron Taylor, Mavis Pitts, Elizabeth Mitchell, Ola Mae Browning, Katherine Weldon and Geraldine Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Pike Taylor of Roanoke; his daughter Tammy Lynn Taylor Kingery (Mike Parmer) of Wadley; his grandchildren, Thomas Daniel Kingery (Skyler) of Roanoke and Cory Taylor Kingery of Wadley; his great grandchildren, Kelsey Pearl Kingery Cook (Michael), Alivia Grace Kingery, Jeremiah Case Kingery, Clarabeth Taylor Kingery and Elisha Trace Kingery; his great great grandchildren, Selah Pearl Cook and Silas Michael Cook; and his sister Maudine Sibley of Rock Mart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home (319 College St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Concord Primitive Baptist Church (52376 AL-22, Wadley, AL 36274).
Memorials may be floral, or the family suggests memorials to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund (P O Box 305, Roanoke, AL 36274).
