He is survived by: his wife Debbie Tidwell; his children, Dana Hite (Nathan) of Douglasville, GA, Clara Waldrop of Wetumpka, Vanessa Lynn Tidwell of Roanoke and Little Ray Tidwell, Jr. of Roanoke; his parent Carolyn Jerry Griffin Morris; his grandchildren, Kayla, Bo, Seth, Ella, James, Jonathon, Willie and Murphy; his siblings, Rebecca Smith of Jonesboro, GA, Sharon Dean of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Stevie Holt (Pam) of Panama City Beach, FL and Rodney Holt of Douglasville, GA; and his nephew Daniel Wilkerson of Wedowee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home (319 College St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel (319 College St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (826 Co Rd 129, Wedowee, AL 36278).
