With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne C. Sorrells of Roanoke, Alabama, born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Raymond Sorrells; her grandson Kevin Whaley (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Malachi Whaley, Gracelyn Whaley and Josiah Whaley; and her cousin Clarence Booker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
