She was predeceased by: her parents, Quitman Hamm and Mary Bell Hamm; her daughter Racheal Lord; and her sisters, Linda Odom and Cynthia Hamm.

She is survived by: her daughters, Summer Hamm (Sammy Carrasquillo) and Brook Hutchinson (Ryan). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
