He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester L. Price and Lavida Cherry; his former wife Jimmie DoLee Price; and his sisters, Sylvia Vest, Joyce Swindle and Betty Bradshaw.

He is survived by: his children, Mardis Sylvester Price, Toni Belinda Gioioso (John), Barry Herbert Price (Nicole), Garrick Wilder and Kelly Wilder (Elizabeth Hill); his grandchildren, Tyler Price (Kylie), Georgia Quiggin (Neill), Nicholas, Rebecca Gioioso, Hannah, Gavin Wilder, Sam and Katie Wilder; his great grandchildren, Arthur, Atticus and Augustus Price; and his sisters-in-law, Pittman, Sellers, Hill and Bell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his brothers-.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Mardis's memory.
