He is survived by: his wife Gayle Gibson Thompson; his sons, Scott Thompson (Stephania) and Jeff Thompson (Christina); and his grandchildren, Dylan Thompson (Katelyn), Maison Thompson (Aliyah), Britten Thompson, Kasidy Lawler (Justin) and Tayla Umberger (Buddy). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
