He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Tucker and Mary Jean Tucker; his daughter Hope Tucker Springer; and his brother Ray Cook. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Tucker; his children, Jann Patterson (Denise), Joey Tucker (Brittany) and Bridgett Putman (Chad); his grandchildren, Kyle Wright (Dee), Savannah Butler (Caleb), Bodey Springer, Robb Patterson, Ryleigh Putman, Skylar Tucker and Marshall Tucker; his great grandchild Barrett "Butters" Butler; and his sisters, Susan Whitehead (Joel) and Diana Jernigan (Harold). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
