Leonard Earl Reid Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Earl Reid of Rogersville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Reid and Viola Mozelle Reid; his son Wesley Leonard Reid; his son-in-law Larry Travis Proctor; and his sisters, Dollie Bell Shannon and Mary Jane Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Reid; his daughter Cindy Proctor; his grandchildren, Cristen Gomez, Nikki Carter (Makayla), Tommy Gomez (Haley) and Joey Gomez; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Ryder and Gabby; and his half-siblings, Larry Reid and Carol Lynn Brock (Glenn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rogersville Funeral Home (18275 US-72, Rogersville, AL 35652). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery.
