It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvis Carmen Weeks of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Weeks and Tilda Seay Pace (Bob); his son Darryl G. Weeks; and his sister Colleen Weeks. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Weeks (Harold Young), Darren Weeks (Michelle) and Tammy Jones; his grandchildren, Chris Latham-Brown (Jared), Tiffany Smith (Ben), Jessica Renee Weeks, Hannah Penner (Jared) and Gemma Young; and his siblings, Alton G. Weeks, Opal L. King (John) and Theresa McCleese (Roy Gale). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
