He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Larimore and Frances Larimore (Pugh). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gaines Larimore; his children, Kristie Tollison (Gene Tollison, Jr.) and Randy Keith (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ryan Tollison, Josh Keith, Whitney Hawkins (Patrick) and Mary Tollison; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Keith and London Keith.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel/ Funeral Home (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653-2625). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
