With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Michael Ovitt of Russellville, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyman R. Ovitt and Beatrice Ovitt (Flanagan); his in-laws, Norris and Catherine Moore; his brothers, Wyman Ovitt Jr. and Thomas R. Ovitt; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Toof, Charlie Yessian, James Henderson, Leonard Henderson, Jr., Elizabeth Ovitt, Susan Ovitt, Shirley Henderson and Juanita Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ovitt (Moore); his daughters, Heather Hawkins (Tony) of Berkshire, VT and Lynn Nicholson (Gordon) of Darien, CT; his stepson Jonathan Alsbrooks of Russellville, AL.; his grandsons, Aidan Kelly, Ian Nicholson, Mack Nicholson and AJ Hawkins; his stepgranddaughters, Moriah and Shelby Hawkins; his great grandchild Oliver Brace; his siblings, Marilyn Toof, Sandra Yessian, Patricia Toth and John Ovitt; his brother-in-law Joe Henderson; and his friend Bill Horton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
