With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Lee Streetman Britton (Russellville, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Louellen Oliver Streetman and Henry Douglas Streetman; her husband Athel D. Britton; and her siblings, Mavianea Baker, Tom Streetman, MD, Maxine West, Buster Streetman, Doug Streetman and Jack Streetman.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Britton (Kathy) and Lisa Miller (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Alison Gallman (Pete), David Britton (Tracì), Lori McDonnell (Samuel) and Josh Miller (Ashley); and her siblings, Barbara Watts and Dwight Streetman (Vangie). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel/ Funeral Home (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653-2625). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
