He was predeceased by : his parents, Garvis "Bud" Lee Baker and Joyce Ledbetter Baker. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Dill Baker; his son Nathan Baker (Hilyre) of Tuscaloosa; his grandchildren, Ruby Hayes Baker and William Everett Baker; his brothers, Lanny Baker (Vedera), Thomas Baker and Danny Baker (Melissa); his father-in-law William B. Dill; and his in-laws, Kathy, Greg Masterson, Joy Yates and Johnny. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel-Russellville (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653).
