Betty Gates Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Gates (Saint Stephens, Alabama), who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Hill and Earline Hill (Thomas Gates); and her son Rusty Calloway. She is survived by: her children, Keith Harbin and Angela Courington; her grandchildren, Anthony Hinsen, Credence Calloway and Nicole Calloway; and her great grandchild Jayden Hinsen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Asbury Baptist Church. A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at the Asbury Baptist Church Cemetery.
