He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charlie Batley and Eupulena Dame Batley; his wife Mary Louise Strickland Batley of Chatom; and his siblings, Elma Powell, Elizabeth Walker, Rosaleigh Mcintye, Willie Y. Jones and William Batley.
He is survived by: his friend Clyde Kimbrough Batley, Sr.; his children, Clyde Kimbrough Batley, Jr. (Kathy) of Nederland, TX, Cary Batley (Shannon) of Chatom, AL, David Batley (Darla) of Gainestown, AL and Dina Batley Pearce (Clay) of Leroy, AL; and his sister Mary Lou Batley Jones. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
