He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Louise Reeves Boling and Edgar Hill, Jr.; his grandmother Lillian Reeves; and his brother Philip E. Carlisle. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Monson (Paul); his brother Bernard G. Carlisle, Jr. (Teresa); his grandchildren, Johnathon Monson and Anastasia Monson Dombrowski (John); and his niece Jennifer Scott (Toney).
